Eggless Walnut Brownies

Chocolate brownies are everyone’s favourite. The flaky layer of walnuts on top and the rich intense flavor make this recipe a total winner. It is an absolutely no-fuss recipe that is very simple to make.

INGREDIENTS

All Purpose Flour – 1 ½ cup

Cocoa Powder – ¼ cup

Castor Sugar – 1 cup

Baking Powder – A pinch

Baking Soda – 1 tsp

Butter – ½ cup

Milk – 1 ¼ cup

White Vinegar – 2 tbsp

Morde Dark Chocolate Compound – 75 gm

Fab Vanilla Essence – ½  tsp

Crushed Walnuts – ¼ cup

 

METHOD

In a pan, boil milk and add vinegar to it. When the milk starts to curdle, remove it from fire. Let it cool down to room temperature. Crumble the cottage cheese gently.

Now sift flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda and baking powder and mix well with spoon. Put all the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, add melted butter and cottage cheese along with water. Now add Fab Vanilla Flavour to it and mix well. Melt Dark Morde Chocolate Compound using double boiler method or in microwave and add it to the mixture along with flour-cocoa mixture. Mix everything really well to form a nice batter.

Now, put the batter in a pre-greased baking tin and sprinkle dusted walnuts over it. Bake this at 180º C for 45 mins approximately. Remove it from oven and let it cool completely. Let the brownies cool completely before you try and cut them into squares. Top it up with chocolate sauce. Warm in the microwave and serve.
